It's the First Thursday Thirteen for 2013

Welcome to the Thursday 13 for 1-3-13!

Here are 13 things I am looking forward to in 2013:

1 - No more talk about those stupid Mayans and the end of the world. And can we drop the Zombie Apocalypse while we're at it?

2 - Arrested Development!

3 - The 200th Anniversary of Pride and Prejudice on January 28th.

4 - We are finally going to figure out what Fringe is all about.

5 - Fleetwood Mac is coming back!

6 - The end of the presidential debates, ads, predictions, and pundits.

7 - I will finish writing Dearest Bloodiest Elizabeth, the sequel to Pulse and Prejudice.

8 - My husband learning to cook and preparing all our meals.

9 - I'm going to lose 25 pounds. (Any relation with #8 above is completely coincidental.)

10 - Seeing Anthony Hopkins as Hitchcock.

11 - The Rolling Stones either will or will not go on tour for their 50th anniversary.  I'm OK either way.

12 - The return of Sean Payton - Could that mean a Saints Superbowl in 2014???

13 - Pulse and Prejudice becoming a New York Times Bestseller - with your help, of course! (Now available in print and eBook...)

So what are YOU looking forward to in 2013?

  1. Good list, Colette. What I'm most looking forward to in 2013? More great books, and hopefully catching up on a few favorite authors and series. Time to tackle Mount TBR!

  2. I send my best wishes to you in regards to your husband cooking all meals. He'll probably surprise you in the kitchen. In a good way. ;)

As for what I'm looking forward to in 2013? Getting my novel completed and finding new projects to work on. As always. Heh.

    Happy TT to you!

    1. Hubby has actually been doing well in the kitchen! He made some impressive jerk chicken last night (I would have expected "jerk" from my EX-husband!)

Best of luck on your novel. I have a ways to go on the sequel to 'Pulse and Prejudice.' It's the research that's killing me.

  5. Oh let's do have a zombie apocolypse - I know of about 500 people who are already zombies (we call them Congress). Great list, very thought provoking.
