Welcome to My Sexy Saturday! This week’s theme is  A Good Ol Sexy Time . "This week’s theme is A Good Ole Sexy Time and think about things like the Dukes of Hazzard or maybe Nashville or the Appalachian Mountains. This week is about…well…normal people. You know, the boys next door, the good ole boys, the boys of summer and everything in between. There is nothing more sexy than a man at the beach or getting done with his chores or doing his best at any task." OK, well, I don't really write about the "boys next door" - and certainly not "good ole boys"! In my upcoming romantic noir thriller The Widow , the hero is an undercover DEA agent. In The Proud and the Prejudiced , Peter Walsingham is a famous movie star. And in Pulse and Prejudice , the vampire Darcy is, well, Mr. Darcy! Happy New Year, Dear Readers! Wow - 2015 .... This decade is just flying by! I know many people are blogging about their "year in review," but it just kind of whooshed right by me. I know I worked - a lot! Mainly putting in plenty of overtime at my soul-sucking day job. I did finish two novels - one of them being Viuda , which is a work of art if I do say so myself (fingers crossed that my agent finds a publisher soon so you can finally read it!) - and, if I'm lucky, I might finish a third this week. I also completed the edits and enhancements for The Proud and the Prejudiced (which - as a reminder - is still only 99¢ on all eBooks through January 1st , then it jumps back to the extravagant regular price of $2.99). Right now it is only available on eBook but soon will be released in hardcover. I have so much planned for 2015, I hope I have enough time! Well, the NFL season ended for me yesterday with the loss of my beloved New Orleans Saints. They were shut out in the first half, so I made a plea (or perhaps a bribe) on my Facebook page to get everyone to cheer for them - kind of like in Peter Pan when all the children are asked to clap to save Tinkerbell - and it was working! The Saints came back and had a chance to tie the game - twice! - but in the end, they couldn't hold on. (Due to a bet with my husband, I will now be doing all the dishes for a week. The highlights of the season: The Saints won their first playoff game on the road in team history! They did not have a single loss at home (There's no place like Dome!). PLUS my Fantasy Football team won our league Superbowl! (And I had to beat my ex-husband TWICE to do it!) Gentle readers, Recently, I "came out of the closet." I revealed what only a handful of even those closest to me know: I have Major Depressive Disorder.
