Sexy Today! With Cover Reveal of The Confession of Mr Darcy, Vampire for My Sexy Saturday
And I'm back with a NEW My Sexy Saturday!
I know I've been gone awhile, but as I mentioned last week when the amazing Abigail Reynolds joined me for Coffee, that's a topic for another blog post...
Today's theme for My Sexy Saturday is "Sexy Today," which I thought perfect to go along with today's reveal of the sexy new cover of Pulse and Prejudice: The Confession of Mr. Darcy, Vampire. (This is Book 1 of the Mr. Darcy, Vampire series.)
So what do you think?
Also, who is as sexy today as he was 202 years ago? Why, Mr. Darcy, of course! Indeed, the only character sexier than Mr. Darcy is the immortal Vampire Darcy...
What if the vampire Darcy could not control his carnal desires?
And so, here are my sexy seven from the scene where Mr. Darcy and Miss Elizabeth Bennet are dancing at the Netherfield ball when he accidentally uses his vampire powers on his dance partner:
The release of this updated version for all eBooks is Tuesday, May 12th. Also, if you order directly from the publisher's store, the hardback is $5 off for a limited time.

What if the vampire Darcy could not control his carnal desires?
And so, here are my sexy seven from the scene where Mr. Darcy and Miss Elizabeth Bennet are dancing at the Netherfield ball when he accidentally uses his vampire powers on his dance partner:
The dance brought their hands together once more, and they faced each other for a moment; but in that moment, his eyes met hers and did not release them. She was caught, frozen; unsteady on her feet, she might have fallen if Darcy had not taken her about the waist.
“Miss Bennet,” he said in a low murmur.
“I—I am sorry. I think I need some air.”
“Yes, of course.” He led her through the crush and out to the terrace. “Are you ill? May I bring you something?”
She leaned against the wall and shook her head gently. “No, I thank you. I do not know what happened. It has never happened before. Suddenly, I felt like I was…” She looked up at him with brow furrowed. “I do not know what I was feeling.”
They both seemed to realize at the same moment that his arm still wrapped around her, her bodice pressed against his ribcage, his face mere inches from hers as their breath intermingled. For a moment, he did not release her, did not want to let her go. He held her there between himself and the wall, captivated by her mouth. He leaned closer still, then dropped his arm, pulled back, and stepped away.
He leaned on the balustrade and stared out into the night. He knew not what he felt either.
