Hump Day Hook #5 (Rated R excerpt)

Welcome to the Hump Day Hook Hop for November 28, 2012!

With this blog hop, each author posts one paragraph from a WIP or finished book for all to see. Then, it would be really cool if you could visit all the writers participating and comment on their paragraph!

This sensual paragraph is from my current work in progress, Dearest Bloodiest Elizabeth, the sequel to Pulse and Prejudice, the vampire adaptation of Jane Austen's classic love story.  This scene takes place just after the first Hump Day Hook I posted.

By request, this is a hotter scene than usual, although it does take place in the snow!
(This excerpt is intended for a mature audience. Reader discretion is advised.)

Darcy pulled at her skirts and brought the hem to her knees.  He reached his hand up between her cold thighs to the hot core that drew him in.  She gasped against his mouth as he touched her there, but he wasted little time in freeing himself from his trousers and thrusting deep within her. Afterwards he held her face in his hands, stroking her cheeks with his thumbs as he kissed her beatific face.  His thoughts of his good fortune in finding and winning this woman were disrupted when he realized that, even in their current state of dishabille, she was stuffing snow down his back.  He reacted dramatically, rolling up to shake out the snow; and Elizabeth took advantage of his distraction to make her laughing escape.

“Madam, you use your wiles and allures to seduce me and gain an advantage!”

Love to know what you think!

Thanks for stopping by! Hop on over to the other authors' sites for their hooks. Coming up...
