Doggone Blog Hop for Charity - Vote "Amadeus" TOP DOG!

Welcome to the Doggone Blog Hop!

Vote for "Amadeus" as TOP DOG for Charity!

This is a different kind of blog hop since we are trying to raise money - as well as awareness - for doggie charities, but we'll try to have some fun, too!  Over the next three days, for EVERY COMMENT LEFT BELOW with the words "TOP DOG," I will donate $1 to the Brown Dog Foundation, which helps fund veterinary bills for families who can't afford them. (Yes, I am shamelessly using bribery to get you to vote for my dog.) PLUS if YOU make a donation to the animal charity of your choice, email me the receipt, and I will MATCH your donation!

Also, everyone who leaves a comment below will be entered to win an eBook copy of Pulse and Prejudice - I can even inscribe it to you. You see, the only character in that novel inspired by someone in my real life is the dog Amadeus. He is modeled after my Petit Basset Griffon Vendéen (PBGV for short). You can click here to learn more about the breed.

Once you watch this video I made of him (mainly to drive my kids crazy after I first got my iPhone), I think you will agree he deserved a role in Pulse and Prejudice - and why he deserves your vote as Top Dog! If you would like to read a snippet of the novel with Amadeus as the star, click here for that excerpt.

I hope you enjoy this video! (If the videos snag, just refresh and play again.)

And if you haven't had enough, here's a video of him playing with my grandpuppy on my bed as I am trying to write (you might see my laptop on the right at times).

TO VOTE: Just leave a comment below with the words TOP DOG (and include your email in case you win the inscribed eBook), and email me any donation you make to colette@colettesaucier.com and I will match it!

Then continue on the Doggone Blog Hop for Charity with these amazing authors!

UPDATE:

It should come as no surprise to anyone (if I do say so myself) that my beloved PBGV, the inspiration for "Amadeus" in Pulse and Prejudice, won the title of TOP DOG in the Doggone Blog Hop for Charity! I will be making my donation to the Brown Dog Foundation, which helps fund veterinary bills for families who can't afford them.

The Winner of the eBook of Pulse and Prejudice as selected by Random.org is Linzé Brandon, and congratulations to her!

If you did not win, have no fear! Pulse and Prejudice is available in paperback, all eBook formats, and even audiobook! And I can even inscribe an eBook of Pulse and Prejudice to you as well.

  1. Amadeus is definitely TOP DOG! If Sippewissett were in the competition, I might have a hard time deciding, but that blanket play is amazing. :)
